Erik Sellfors

Erik Sellfors is the Broker/Owner of Cambridge Homes. Since 1987, he has represented home sellers and buyers throughout Ventura and Los Angeles counties. Humble and dedicated to providing the highest customer service, his firm uses the latest technology and marketing to bring the highest value to its clients. Typically, his client's homes sell for a higher value and shorter time. 
 
Erik grew up in Calabasas and Bell Canyon.  From an early age, he began helping his parents flip homes and managing rental properties all over the Valley. He graduated from Calabasas high school in 1985.  Knowing that real estate was his passion, he went to San Diego State University to study business.  That led to a brief time at the University of Hawaii and later to UCLA.  He began selling real estate in 1987 for Merrill Lynch Realty while on summer break.  His mentor saw something in him and encouraged him to pursue commercial real estate.  In 1989 he was hired at Marcus and Millichap and went on to sell multi-family residential and commercial buildings.  Following his passion for homes, he took a position as assistant manager at Coldwell Banker in Woodland Hills.  In 1992, following the S&L crisis, banks began listing their foreclosed homes with him.  All of that hard work as a young man flipping homes translated to helping the banks fix up their dilapidated homes and get them ready for sale.
 
Erik joined RE/MAX in 2002 and became one of their top producing agents.  In 2007, Erik was awarded the Chairman's Award.  In 2008, he was the #1 agent in Simi Valley, the 5th largest producer in the country, and 11th worldwide.  He went on to receive the Diamond Award and was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame, and Lifetime Achievement Award.  Erik owned the franchise from 2008 to 2023.
 
In 2023, with a handful of his top producing agents, he founded Cambridge Homes.  Recognizing that real estate is hyper-local, they sat down and recreated a firm based on traditional principals of service with a newer high tech approach to marketing.  Utilizing the latest software and the newest, brightest minds in the space, they created an entirely new firm with their clients remaining at the center of it all.  The firm was developed by highly seasoned veterans who put the firm's clients first above all else.  This breeds a culture of honesty, humility, responsibility, and values at the forefront of every decision.  Hiring the brightest marketing geniuses in the business ensures that the firm's clients are exposed to more buyers creating higher sale prices in shorter times.  Every effort is made to deliver a white-glove full-service experience.

While at San Diego State, he raced on the ski team.  Skiing remains a passion today, and he regularly skis Mammoth with his family and friends.  Growing up on the beaches of Southern California, he became a swimmer and loved to surf.  He took up racing in triathlons in 1986 and competed in the Ironman in 2001.  When he's not selling homes, you will find him surfing at C-street, mountain biking in the beautiful hills above Westlake, or exploring wineries with his Fiance' Staycee.
